Wandi Nerida accepts referrals from GPs, psychiatrists, psychologists, and other treating health professionals for individuals requiring residential eating disorder treatment in Queensland. Our streamlined digital referral system makes it easy to connect your patients with evidence-based, person-centred care.

Queensland Patients

Queensland residents may be eligible for admission into a public-funded bed, courtesy of our agreement with QLD Health.  For your QLD patient to be considered for a public admission, please email quedsconsultationservices@health.qld.gov.au and request a QuEDS SED Bed referral form to complete.  There is no requirement to complete a Wandi Nerida referral form; the completed QuEDS SED Bed referral form will be shared with Wandi Nerida if/once endorsed for public funding.

Wandi Nerida uses a digital referral platform that increases efficiencies and improves the patient experience. Our partnership with Consultmed, an Australian health technology company, allows you to send secure e-referrals for eating disorder treatment and track them in real time.

How to send referrals via Consultmed

Already have a Consultmed account?

In everything we do, we challenge our ideas of what is possible, all while maintaining our honesty and principles.
  • Log in to Consultmed using your email and password
  • Select '+ New Referral' from your dashboard
  • Choose Wandi Nerida as the receiving facility
  • Select your patient or add a new patient profile
  • Complete clinical details and reason for referral
  • Attach relevant documents (imaging, pathology, treatment history)
  • Submit the referral

Creating a Consultmed account takes just minutes. The details you provide will be used to send and manage all future digital referrals to Wandi Nerida. You can add multiple practice locations to your account.
